This concerns a glitch when playing Booby Kids on real hardware, NES PAL, using a flash cartridge.
Don't know if Booby Kids fails to play also on NTSC system, but it fails when loading the stage on PAL, but using Game Genie I managed to fix it so it is fully playable on the Everdrive N8. Game Genie code should work also if the game has problems in the NTSC version.
Game Genie code:
Six letter version: ATISTP
Eight letter version: ATSSTPGA
Address D15E, value: 60, compare: 04
I didn't see any bad side-effects using the six-letter version so you might as well use that.
Some other value than 60 should also work, it was only used because I was experimenting with RTS (60) before I found the address. So if the code has side-effects experimenting with other values could be a solution. You could reply to this thread if so, and I'll see what I can do, I've played through the game without side-effects (this game is pretty hard, but has some excellent music!)
Other codes:
NIKNZZVU - Invincible against most enemies (not against snakes in round 2, or holes).
AEOVGTGP - Only need to collect one fruit (or whatever item you need to collect to open the gate).
