I've advised twice now for you to use a more modern VBA and so far you haven't confirmed if you are using a new one or an old ass version. Either VBA-M or VBA Rerecording would do.

There's absolutely no reason why the codes wouldn't work for you unless you are using an old VBA.

This is the codebreaker code I used:
    4201E1A0 270F
    00000004 0008

    It worked fine.

I downloaded VBA Rerecording as suggested. Now I don't know if the codes work because I am running into a different problem. When I try to enter the "(M) Must Be On" codes, I get an error message saying "Codes seem to be for a different game." WHAT THE HELL???? Am I cursed or something?

EDIT: And just to clarify, this happens with ALL of the (M) codes in the list. Yes, I tried them all, and yes, they all give me the same error.

You don't have to use Master codes with emulators. That's only for consoles.

So I've been giving myself headaches over those stupid (M) codes all this time for nothing? Well, at least now I know.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say my old save states won't work with the newer emulator either.

EDIT: Just wanted to mention that the codes are in fact working now

Load your save state on the old version, make a battery save, use that battery save to load your game on the new emu.

By "battery save" I assume you mean that actual in-game save? Not a problem, I suppose. The real problem is going to be reprogramming all those codes. Luckily I don't have that many games. But thanks for all the help and advice and I apologize if I came off sounding like a jerk.

You can use the site's feature to download the codes you want directly in the emu's format.

However, since the site recently went through a redesign, the feature might have glitches. So give it a try and if it doesn't work, report it.

I've already been programming some codes back in--but there seems to be some codes missing--there were codes for 99 of the first item in the list for Final Fantasy Vi Advance, and another for 15 of the first item. What happened to those? I know they were there before because I was using them.

I reported that there might be codes missing, but I have no way of knowing if you are correct.

Hopefully the admin can find out.
