RAW codes for Quack Shot (MD/GEN) - How to use?

Hi all, first post here.
So I'm looking to use two of the RAW codes for v1.0 of this game using an emulator. Is there one that supports this type of cheat, or do I need to use something like the CCCGP program to patch the ROM instead?
I downloaded the CCCGP program, but it won't open on my PC, saying "MSCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies isn't correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid". I've downloaded the file but it doesn't fix it.

Also tried getting the Game Genie Code Converter, but the site gives me a 404.

2. which game are you trying to cheat?
2. only gamegenie codes can be patch into ROM.
3. use better new program is based on CCCGP does patch correctly that works on newer windows os

Do I use the same Game Genie menu to activate them? I'm interested in "call plane from anywhere"/FFEE5C:00FF and "super fast donald"/FFEE62:00FF specifically. The first one makes it so I can't call the plane even at the green flag (was the same in regular Gens) and the second one does nothing. All GG codes I've tried work fine.

Edit: I used Gens+ v0.0.9.61 now.

1. Whichever takes RAW codes is the one I'm gonna use, but I've tried Gens and Gens+ so far.

If you have gens+, then you can enter the codes. Just remember to turn them on.

Oh right, I remember now. Gens cheat engine SUCKS. For some reason it sets the value to all raw codes to zero.

If you use another emulator, Kega Fusion, the code will work fine.

Alright, will try it in Fusion tomorrow as this laptop gets a blue screen error when I close that emulator.

Fusion does work, but I also have a correction to report.
The "super fast donald" code, FFEE62:00FF, actually makes Donald act as if he ate a bunch of peppers instead. This means you're invincible and the controls are slippery.
