I discovered how to bypass the red screen when using this emulator on the Xbox. Here are the steps:
1. Load the game with the codes on. When you see that the screen is red, go back to the menu selection where you can disable the codes.
2. The emulator will ask you to exit the game and reload it with the codes off. When you do this, go to the SAVE STATE menu and save a game where it starts (i.e.- when the "SEGA" logo appears in the middle of the screen)
3. Go back to the menu selection where you can enable the codes that caused the red screen to appear. The emulator will again ask you to exit the game and reload it with the codes on this time.
4. When you reload the game, you will get a red screen again. Now go to the LOAD STATE menu and load the save state from step #2.
5. Now you should be able to play the game normally with the codes enabled and no red screen glitch :-).
