Not sure why that's happening. I'll have to play through to the second level and see if it happens on my emulator. If it does, then I might be able to solve the problem.

It's interesting that you said that it also happened with the "protection from gunfire" code you had from before, because that's probably an official Galoob Game Genie code.

Can you post the "level select" code you mentioned before? That will save me time getting to level 2.

    Tony H.

EDIT: Probably shouldn't put the codes on the site until we figure out what's wrong.

      Hey,

      Sure:
      ALZA-AAHC - Start on Level 2 - - John Connor's house
      AWZA-AAHC - Start on Level 3 - - the Mall
      A4ZA-AAHC - Start on Level 4 - - Pescedaro Hospital
      BCZA-AAHC - Start on Level 5 - - Enrique's Compound
      BLZA-AAHC - Start on Level 6--Dyson's House
      (found these at GameGenie.com)

There is a downside to these codes though. If I remember correctly you'll start without any weapons. So I don't know if anything will happen in John's house...

I'll try out the codes with Gens as well, take some screenshots or save the game when it happens.

      Edit:
It works fine with the emulator... The protection from explosions code also protects John so it'll probably protect Sarah as well. I think it's the same as it was with the protection from gunfire cheat. And as for the code on the road, it also works with the police car so I'll guess it'll work with the van as well. I don't understand why the cart won't have them though...

      Another edit:
The protection from gunfire and infinite rounds codes I already had give me errors as well.

Since the codes work with Gens, there's no way for me to figure out why you're having problems on your console. I did find this in the T2 ROM:

DeBugging monitor for SEGA...Written by Graeme Ashton oct92.

I'm sure that's the text you see when you have problems.

        Tony.

Those level select codes are also on our site. They are in a subsection in the official game codes section.

That sucks, but I understand... Thanks for everything, and yes, that's exactly what I saw after I pressed some buttons when getting the error...

Retrogamer, I got your email. I'm currently only working on Genesis GG codes, so it will be awhile before I start working on NES codes again.

Oh ok..I want to know how to convert GG codes like Vectorman 2 to PAR

                  AMNA-AA6T
Infinite energy (invincible) - Hex code is 00D890:6002

                  F4ZT-AA4T
Infinite time - Hex Code is 00AB50:602E

I don't own a Genesis PAR, so I can't guarantee that this works, but just enter the hex code (without the colon). So 00D890:6002 would be entered as 00D89 06002. The PAR is supposed to be able to modify RAM or ROM addresses. If you have a real PAR, let me know if the converted GG codes work.

                    Tony.
