Whether its with the Game disc, A game save or needing to have the Original Xbox console itself softmodded or hardmodded.

I don't quite understand what you mean by "mod". If you are talking about a way to use game cheats on the original Xbox, then yes, you can buy an Action Replay.
If you want to know about hacking a game to mod its contents (as in, modifying assets), then you have the wrong forum. You can try over at romhacking.net for that.Last edited by ReyVGM; 04-25-2015, 11:25:13 PM.

Okay, that explains a lot considering that I have a thread where nobody responded at all for 8 months since last year.Originally posted by ReyVGM View PostI don't quite understand what you mean by "mod". To keep this within the area of this site..........Are there gameshark/action replay cheats for "Spikeout: Battle Street" for the Original Xbox? I've been trying to look around but haven't found anything OR how can I create codes for the cheat devices?
I know that on my gamecube action replay its possible to recreate entirely new codes for games (Like something I did with SSBM) but I have no idea if that's possible here.
I have the desire to do just 1 small thing with my game.Last edited by mikeyn1gm; 04-26-2015, 10:57:50 AM.

Sorry, I googled and I saw that there was an Action Replay for the Xbox, but I guess it probably was for the 360?
As to what we do about the Xbox, nothing I guess. I don't make codes for advanced consoles like those, and everyone else here hacks what they like.
Due to the online nature of some modern consoles, hackers refuse to make codes to prevent people from abusing online games. I know the Xbox is old, but considering there is not legal way of making cheats, and there's no emulator with a cheat search, then that causes the lack of cheats.

I understand with the hacker refusal..........I'm the type of person that finds interest in hacks & codes to improve games or make them more fun for everybody rather than "giving me an edge".
Particularly with this game "Spikeout: Battle Street" theres a normal setting within the game called "Allow Friendly damage?" which is stupid because normally when playing co-op you would expect to be able to hit other players or get hit by other players.........instead all it does is damage other players only when you throw an enemy npc towards them which is still sort of equivalent to a co-op where this option would be turned off.
If the "friendly damage" was more ideal then any regular attacks should be able to cause damage and reaction amongst players and from there would emerge a fun alternative way to play the game involving PvP from such a small change
