  • Can anyone convert these Cheat Engine codes?

I made these cheat engine codes for Nagano Winter Olympics '98 (N64), and I would hate for them to go to waste since no one has these codes.

So could anyone convert them? I don't really care about the credit, I just want them saved.

I know that Project64 v1.7 had a working cheat searcher once you enabled it (Options->Settings->Advanced).

After that, it's as easy as modifying the value with Cheat Engine, and using PJ64 to search for the value change.

    Edit:
It's the same process I use to bypass the shitty cheat searcher of Fusion emulator.

      Thanks, I'll try that.

By the way, since you love finding native cheats, I have a request for this very same game.

On the awards menu, there is a code you can enter to see the ending, but only after you've finished the game. However, there's a second code that you can enter, but I don't know what it does (it just gives me an error sound as if I haven't unlocked whatever it is I need to do first).

According to info on the net, that second code is to see a "special ceremony". I assume it's a second ending, but I finished the game twice and it didn't even give me an ending this time around.

So is it possible to turn on the flag that triggers that code so I can see what is it really for?

      The codes are:
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A

      And Up, Up, Down, Down, L, R, L, R, B, A

By the way, to be able to play this game on PJ64, you need to get the overdumped version ([o1]). If you can't find it, check nitroroms.

      *edit*

Ok forget it. You just have to earn one of each medal and the second konami code is unlocked.

Ok I tried PJ64 1.7, but cheat engine doesn't recognize the address I found as the ones from the game.

When I use the current PJ64 I used to find the addresses originally, then it works fine.

Isn't there some other way to convert the codes?

        *Edit*
Forget it. Just realized that PJ64 2.2 has the memory search option too.

          Awesome, that's good to know.
I don't currently even have any version of the emulator on my PC at the moment, had to do a fresh install of Windows recently after a 5 year old hard drive running 24/7 finally died.
