Extreme pinball. Codes were made for it on a gameshark 1.98
By the time I got it I had upgraded to 2.something. The game crashes everytime even if you play with all codes turned off. It crashes at different points in the initial loading screens. This game has insane load times (the longest I have ever seen on a psx game) could this be the reason? It plays fine of course if you completely remove the Gameshark before booting.
Anybody know of any other games like this?

Yeah, I've run into a few. The only one I remember the name of is Discworld 2. The game runs with a GS connected, but you try to use any codes at all on either a v2.3 or a GS Pro, and it totally screws the game up. Actually, Psygnosis games tend to be really uncooperative with cheat devices. This might have something to do with their special compiler (psyQ) and some of the very odd things they can do with a playstation through software (such as being able to reboot the psx after 5 minutes of a demo).
