The code indeed replaces an item... along with a random one more often than not it's a monster that gets replaced, in particular the very first monster you get, it does not matters if I am using the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on slots, there will be always an item replaced at random which is annoying and not what I think the code should do, I am using them on my PSP with Cwcheat plugins (the pops version)

It's a modifier code, so I assume you need to enter the value of the item for the position you want?

I don't seem to see the values on the page though. Maybe they got lost during the database move.

By whats listed You have a wind crystal and a trained wand the rest seem to have a value of zero are you using the zero value codes?

This game is indeed odd in the Inventory setup, I remember hacking codes for this ages ago on the real console and it was a pain (game get boring fast and once you reach the top not much to do).

@ReyVGM, thats not the problem, I happened to be able to find the values there (correct values for the codes at the top of the page) but thats not the problem, the code is buggy, I am not activating anymore slot 1,2 and 3 (because I have monsters there and my trained wand) so I go and mod slot four so it has a Red Sand and slot 5 to have a Wind Crystal, as soon as I turn on the slot 5 code the code replaces Slot 1, SLot 3 and slot 8 I believe then if I throw any of the duplicated items and try to open the screen again the game crashes.

@Hybrid cwcheat does not accepts ???? as a value so I replaced ???? for 0's also cwcheat allows me to turn any code on or off at any times, any 0000 code is left OFF (cwcheat displays it as [Y] for active and [N] for inactive.

@Helder I so far have found it an entretaining game, but yes the inventory is weird, it's two or four screens.

Also could some one add a note that the quick level up code only applies to the hero? (I wonder if hacking codes for making the monster level up was difficult)

From the behavior of the items even when you mod a slot with nothing there tells me this game has another address that says how many items you have and if it doesn't cover the new mods it replaces existing items. I'm sure you can do searches or atleast look in the memory viewer around these codes to see if you can find a value that matches how many items you have and that should be the missing piece of this puzzle.

Sadly the best I can do in terms of hacking is figure out how to mod the money, hmm do you mind if I place a request? A mod floor code, recently the game pulled a fast one as I was nearing an item on the 28th floor and sent me to the 29th floor.

Also I never attempted turning on the next slots code with nothing on it.

Oh and a code for leveling up monsters faster, sorry I forgot about that.

I also found a different thing, and what I believe what is missing from the codes, according to an LP I read the codes have two sets of values, a soft one and a hard one, the avalible codes here only seem to mod the soft, but not the hard value, causing problems.
