  • Chrono Cross 'Dopplegang' GS code request

Does anyone have a GS code for Chrono Cross that will give Sprigg all the Dopplegangs on her list in battle. I need it to be usable with a PSone Gameshark CDX ver. 4.11 a. If anyone either has this code, or can hack it for me , I would really appreciate it.

Due to some technical difficulty, I'll have to get the code off my gs. But, it should work fine on a CDX.

hmmmm...that code is and should be even on the forums here well somewhere.... I know it was posted like gosh 4 or so years ago, maybe even longer then that, 6 to 7 sometime in 1999 when all first started to come together here....

Not sure it is or would work on CDX, but I knoow it is and was around here somewhere, on forums and I thought as well in the main site itself. Again it may not be a good thing for CDX...but I know that code is around here well somewhere..... or at least it was way back then, I believe all topics each time boards went down were moved okay wise? It is also in my GSPro, but again, will take time to turn that on and look, I am in the middle of PS2 games right now, so PSX games is off til new codes come around.

I saw that code, but it is just to force the transformation, and I am too lazy find out the digits for it. I was hoping for one that adds all the dopplegangs to the list when in battle, and would be saveable.

          Here's the code...

          Have All Doppleganger Monsters
          800712B8 FFDF
          800712BA FFFF
          800712BC BFFF
          800712BE FBFB
          800712C0 FFFF
          800712C2 F4E7
          800712C4 FFBF
          800712C6 77FF
          800712C8 E73F
          800712CA 537A
          800712CC F0F0
          800712CE 01F7
          800712D0 BC4E
          800712D2 07C0
Note: You have to have the "Forgetmenot Pot" equipped or this won't do anything.

I'm not sure if this saves, but it should. It only gives you the monsters that somebody had tested and found worked.

Ummm well, not sure, the code I have and use is very sililar to that one LMZ posted, it has or had all dopplgangs and saved and had all the crashers removed. Not sure it is same code because mine saves over. Not looked at GSPro in a while yet though, shall well when Hybrid gets to those newer Suikoden codes, time these days, gotta get the Suikoden-Universe done first with 'other' PS2 games first.

It's probably the same code. This was posted here a couple of times awhile ago here, though being originally from er, elsewhere long before then.

Re: Chrono Cross 'Dopplegang' GS code request

heh Well after reading that, the suspence just was killing me so I turned on my PSX and checked and yes it is the same code. I was thinking not, well simply because I do not recall needing the Forget-Me-Not Pot to make a differance, but ehhh could be wrong, been a few years now sense I played that game from start and even longer then that sense I truly played it from start (meaning NO new game plus) heck last time I did no new game plus was when it first came out, and only had to restart a few times because of 'messy' codes---which as we all know Chrono Cross is STRANGE with anyway....

After all, remember now, or maybe no one does but me, but the Chrono Cross game (and some GS codes for it) even went and ruined a PSX system of mine a good while back, and I traded with my cousin and hehe well told that little thing a good while ago. :P

I think we are talking about different codes, because the only one I saw on the site was the Sprigg transformation modifier code. Thanks for posting the code, though, I will try it and get back to you on Tuesday (because my computer is down so I have to use the one at the library) and tell you if it worked for me.

Re: Chrono Cross 'Dopplegang' GS code request

ummm well, no we were talking the same code, you just missed it, I mean well, it is not around here anylonger, I rememebr this code from truly years ago, I posted it once for someone a member named 'mytru' or soemthing like that, that has been some 6 or more years.

Plus sad fact of life, and well net life, is this place has changed boards and moved around kind of a few times, I 'thought' all codes and messages were converted over, but I see if they were heck alot of people ehre would have post numbers around 9999 even. (After last board mishap the codes from FFOrigins were converted over, seem the other for other games were lost) But with due process because those codes were in our GS's anyway, so no big whoop.

I rememebr TruWizdom gave me that code, and that was sometime in 1999 and the board moved, he fixxed, then he kind of after awhile there vanished, LMZ then took over, and as we moved after awhile soem things at times just got lost.

With that anyway, err I do wonder if we ever missed anything that has yet to be reposted?

Re: Chrono Cross 'Dopplegang' GS code request

Yeah, we're missing quite a bit of stuff that got pruned by DarkSerge, was on the ezboard, or some other long lost board. What I can't figure out, is why this code wasn't on the site. I personally added it, and then more than 6 months ago, somebody (or something) deleted both versions. As far as I can tell, those are the only codes that went missing.

Re: Chrono Cross 'Dopplegang' GS code request

ahhh yes the EZBoard, I remember that, some good time there, kind of sad it is now lost in the net's html recycling bin....

Also well yeah, excuse my fench but hell yeah even, I rememebr personaly asking you to add that code as one not to forget back awhile abck when a board jump was about to happen, and as I said, I know you did, that is why all this time I was like goodness, that code IS here.

I mean nothing bad or disrespectful to our friend who is and was requesting this code, but that is why I was all like, goodness that code is on the site, ebcause I thought and knew LMZ added it long long ago.

Not sure why it was not found, I also knew it to be on site, I do rememebr soem time a while back some talk about things just vanishing all of a sudden, but that has been awhile also, but not pointing fingers or anything at anyone, but I do recall that some mess at tiems justw ere vanishing at times. But again as is and was said, that is and was my whole point to start with, that code 'was' here on site and in the boards---which board now, heck I have no idea, but I do remember they being there and posting it for that 'mytru' guy and also asking (begging) LMZ not to forget to add it to the site.

Darn.... I am starting to miss those older boards now even, not the problems they had that popped up, but some of those topics were great and though I forgot most, I still know they were good. hmmm heck anywya, I wonder if 'any of the older' boards are still around at all, I rememebr those vBs and mess alot of times, that EZBoard, and Ron even had one for us at one time there....those are and were some fun memories. (Dispite things that seemed to vanish at one point as LMZ said on that one board type awhile abck, heck I remmeber more things then that vanishing from boards, maybe not whole site, but some codes were lost I recall sadly as well...some good codes too....)

The code worked fine and was saveable. You do not need the forget me not pot equipped to use it. Some of the Dopplegangs are a little glitchy and have no elements, and the Mannequeen freezes the game. Other than that, the code works great, so thanks everyone.
