  • a question about PS2's codebreaker cbc files

    i will get a new PS2 soon from different video game store that let you buy retro games like PS2, Sega, etc anyways, can i download cbc files on my Codebreaker 9.0 without modding my PS2?

      should i make a folder if i put them in my USB? like PS3 where they have folders called Export and Savedata

        no, cbc files need be on the root of the usb flash drive
        cbc file v8 for codebreaker 8 or higher
        unofficial cbc file you need update.bin

          just get PS2 today. but, codebreaker cbc files don't want appears. i use Lexar USB Flash Drive. should i find different one? any recommendations?

            What model of PS2 you have?

            USB Flash Drive is formatted as FAT32?

                you can download all day1 files here and download the GoodCBC_r5.7z file

                and
                might need upgrade.bin

                they (both upgrade.bin & day1 cbc files) need be on root level of usb flash drive.
                the usb drive needs be plug into ps2 during boot-up to load the upgrade file

                    yes,

                    you can use other users ps2 saves freely

                    just like codebreaker day1 .cbc,

                    codebreaker save .cbs need be on root level of usb flash drive.

                        what size of flash drive?

                        you cant have more than 32 files on usb flash drive, odd reason codebreaker doesnt like

                            you have remember codebreaker uses out-of-date usb driver

                            I dont know if bigger flash drive will work
