I tried to do this myself using ps2dis but ended up with a splitting headache an no results at all.any help would be most appreciated,thanks in advance

you will never find actual joker in elf

You can add the joker before the first line of the code. There is no need for an off value, as it's just a RAM hack. The address isn't being constantly written to anymore. If no joker is available already (never used one on any of the games), it's pretty easy to find one (see the guides). I've never jokered a pointer code before, so I can't recommend if to use the D or E command (lee4, Pyriel, etc would know).

no, each games has their own joker
