Request: Castlevania (USA) (NES) Better Infinite Health

Can you someone do a new better Infinite Health code because this which exist there is glitchy. This Infinite Health doesn´t working for spikes and one time the game freeze and I need to load state Thank you very much

What makes it glitchy? because it doesn't work on spikes? there are many and I mean many games where the spikes that usually cause instant death are a separate routine and there fore another code needs to be made to be used in conjunction with the already existing code. Usually this type of code is called infinite health to hazards or environment.

Yeah I realised that spikes can be instant death and for this you need Invincibility but it´s easy to do with the Save States but in one part of the game the whole game freeze not emulator or my PC but only game and HUD of the game is black and only there is a weapon on the HUD and the enemies are disappeared and only me is on the screen you can hear only freezed sound like on real NES when the pins is damaged or the cartridge is dirty but this is emulator with the ROM so I think it´s the code but I´m do a Save State very often so I Load State the game and I pass this part but it´s good to have a better Infinite Health that you can play the game without problems and if I do a Save State on the beggining of the game or not Save State the game at all, is not good. Or you think is not a code but what ? I have a good verified ROM from No-Intro. and play on newest revision of FCEUX which is the best NES emulator for me. Or is it a normal bug or glitch which doesn´t happen again when I play it from beggining ?

I know but I pass that spikes only with Save States because is easy, but the big problem is that freeze of a game which happen to me, maybe is not a problem with the code but I don´t know what else could it do so I think is a problem of the code that game somewhere and sometimes freeze, I don´t know. What you think ? If is doing a code and I think is doing a code I want new one which doesn´t do this anymore. :/

problem is your are using save states, not the codes.

you probably need disable all codes for emulator to load save states properly, then re-enable the codes after save state loaded.

I've found that some Game Genie codes for some NES games work on FCEU 98, but won't work on FCEUX 2.2.2, and sometimes vice versa. This is OCCASIONALLY true for FCEU or raw codes as well. This is true when using the same ROMs on both versions of the emu.

Also, this applies to different ROM versions of the same game.

Rather than try to chronicle every such case, which would be long and boring to both me and any reader, I suggest to EXPERIMENT. If a certain code won't work with the emu or ROM you're using, try another version of the emu, then try another ROM version. If a code in this site was made by a regular contributor here, it works for whatever ROM/emu combo he/she was using.

Yeah thank you everyone for info, I think too that this is my problem maybe I do something wrong or the save state doesn´t load properly and that´s why it freeze and I need to load it again. If I´m gonna have another problem or need a new code, I post it here in the forum.
