  • Some new GameCube Legend of Zelda codes

    Hi guys,

In a previous topic I made, I made a mention about a Danish hacker named Nikra who had helped me make some NTSC Action Replay codes for a couple of the Legend of Zelda games on the GameCube that I thought I had lost (that topic can be disregarded now)...anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know I got a hold of him on GameFAQs recently after finding a few of his codes in some of my older e-mails as well as on the internet archive (which is a big relief for me), and I asked him if I could post those codes of his here.

Thankfully, I got the green light from him to post these codes, so here we go (most of these codes are for the port of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask that is in The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition game, but a couple others are for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, so I'm going to list them separately just to avoid confusion). Anyway, for whoever can add these codes, please give Nikra credit for them (I don't need to be credited for these codes).

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess codes (PAL):

With the code above, you only need to hit 10 of Koume's targets (instead of 20) to win the Piece of Heart. It also prevents the game from ending in failure if you hit Koume herself too many times.

Edit: Guys, please don't add the Twilight Princess codes just yet...I just realized the ones I posted aren't for NTSC, so my apologies. If I can find the NTSC equivalents, I'll post them.

Edit 2: Well, I can definitely tell the two Twilight Princess codes are PAL...and on top of that, I *think* I had them converted in the past on GSCentral, but since there's virtually no way for me to find the converted codes, I'm wondering if someone here with a PAL GameCube and Twilight Princess can test the Twilight Princess codes, and let me know if they work for them, please?

      Oops, my bad.

But once again I tested both of the Twilight Princess codes, and neither of them worked for me, just like the first time when Nikra originally made those two codes, so once again, I apologize guys.

I personally know there are two versions of the NTSC Wii version of Twilight Princess (V1 and V2), but am I right in the fact that there is only one version of the NTSC GameCube version of the game? Not trying to make a tongue twister here, but having these codes not work and be in the NTSC format is confusing me.
