This is probably going to be one of the very few times I share a code for a game here, but being as I tested it myself and found it works for me, I'd like to share a code I made for The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition port of Majora's Mask for the GameCube Action Replay (NTSC).

This code allows you to use the D-Pad to manipulate the timer; Up freezes it, Down unfreezes it, Left rewinds it, and Right advances it. More importantly, you can freeze the timer and advance or rewind it even while it's still frozen (advancing or rewinding the timer while it's frozen will not unfreeze it unless you press D-Pad Down).
So there you go, a code for total control of the timer.
