I just wanted to point out that this: http://gamehacking.org/?game=42712, even though it's listed as being for the European version of the game, it also works with the US version of the game. I was just using myself a little bit ago.

Also, if you're want to use some of the slightly longer Game Genie code for Donkey Kong Country 2, it works just using the first line of the Master Code, thus allowing you to use Game Genie codes that are up to 4 lines long on a real Game Genie.
