I'm new here, but I want to ask if anyone knows of a code for FF6A. I remember there was a code for the SNES version (back when it was called Final Fantasy III) that made it so Locke's "Steal" command would always steal the monster's rare item, if successful. Since the Advance version seems to be more stingy with rare Steals than the SNES or PSX versions, this would be a useful code. Does anyone know if such a code exists? I'm playing it on an emulator (Visual Boy Advance) so either a GameShark or Code Breaker version of the code would help.

I know nobody has responded to this, but I found the code so I will post it here. This is for GameShark or Action Replay, by the way:
100% Rare Item Steal

8E1A453626114D50

This only works if the enemy has a rare item to steal. If not, then the steal will fail.

I cant find it on the site anywhere but I made my own version and this code (the one you posted)does work but there could be another 2 codes to be added to the 3 lines in it to always steal but not sure 100% it would work on real hardware. Anyways I added a new code to the site under In Battle Codes that allows you to steal as many items as you want from the enemy which normally only has 1 then the Steal fails. My code doesn't reset the item so you can keep getting it over and over.Spoiler Alert! Click to view...

It's odd, I remember finding the code here but when I went looking for it again I couldn't find it. The only other site I get codes from is BSFree but they don't have it either. Anyway, I might try your code if I start a new game. I like the idea of repeated steals...does that work with Rare steals? If so, I could steal two Mythril Claws from Belmodar and then equip Sabin with the Genji Glove...hmm....

I'm not that far into it but I did steal 2 different items from one enemy then I kept stealing and got the lesser item. So maybe with the code you posted along with mine it might work plus when I was looking into this code I also found a way to make you steal any item you want from any enemy, basically an item stolen mod but not sure if you want that.Spoiler Alert! I think I'll stick with stealing the items that the monsters have. I don't want to be able to, say, steal the Ragnarok sword from the Guard Captain in the Narche Mines. That might make the game TOO easy.
I remember a code for the SNES version that would let you equip the same item infinitely (for example, you could equip a Genji Glove and two Ultima Weapons on everyone) but haven't seen such a code for the GBA version here. I checked BSFree and they don't have it either. Anywhere else I could look for a code like that?

If that's the case then it's easier to input and easier for anyone who wants to poke around the code locations to use CB versions of the codes for the Emulator.

Thanks, but it didn't work. And yes, I'm playing with an emulator (VisualBoyAdvance-M-SVN1229). Is this for a PAL or US version of the game? Do I need a master code or something like that? I would also appreciate if you could help me with FFV (i posted the same question on FFV thread).Originally posted by Helder View PostThere can be but it's nice to know what cheat format you want, I'm assuming you're using an emulator so anything will work.
