  • REQ Suikoden 3

    I've been lurking on these forums for a few months now. I finally decided to register because I'd like to see a code for Suikoden 3 to modify the winning lottery numbers. The lottery has some cool prizes and the winning numbers are randomized each time you check. Your tickets, however, are fixed the instant you buy them.

    An example of a lottery would be:
    Grand Prize: A - 1483
    1st Prize: ? - ?345
    2nd Prize: ? - ??56
    3rd Prize: ? - ??78 or ? - ??11
    4th Prize: ? - ???4
    Complimentary Prize: ? - ??24

    All of them are easy enough to get, even 1st prize... aside from the grand prize; which has a measly chance to win considering you can only have a max of ten tickets on hand at any given time.

    So a modifer code for the winning numbers would be handy. Or even an item modifier to give you a winning ticket. The current item modifier can insert a winning ticket, but the ticket has no prize specified. It's more or less a dummy item in its current form.

    Re: REQ Suikoden 3

    Well, I can and do understand you, PS2 codes are becomming the 'thing' now. The sad thing about that is well, only a very select few know anything about how to make PS2 codes.

    Right now, I could count on one hand (and not many fingures at all sadly) how many PS2 code hackers their are.

    Anyway as for the game Suikoden 3, I do 'kind of' recall that code type being done awhile back.

    I would go and check Pyrial's codes.... he has hacked Suikoden 3 alot, nothing as of late, but he did pretty much get most code types done for that game.

    http://www.herrvillain.com/codebreaker/

    As is, so sorry cannot help exactly 'here', wish we could, I know Pyrial is a member here, but those PS2 hackers do show ALOT of rare times when being online and able to contact them.

    Otherwise as said, I'd try there, and otherwise CodeMaster's Project as far as contacting and asking him, CodeMaster's Project IS the place as far as PS2 codes go, home brew types anyway.

    Again those PS2 hackers are members 'here' but them getting here does indeed seem rare, as one could and would understand, PS2 hacking has to be the ultimate....after all it is the end all end all these days.

      Re: REQ Suikoden 3

      Thanks for the help, Amy. That site didn't have it, and as far as I know codemasters project doesn't either.

      If I had the resources to hack codes for the PS2 I'd simply hack the code myself. The code could be tackled two ways, so one of them would be bound to work properly.

      The way the lottery works is rather simple. Every 30 minutes a new lottery opens and an old one closes. So, for example, lottery 73 is open and you buy 10 tickets for it. 30 minutes later the results for 73 are up for viewing but remain undertermined until you either view the board or speak to the lottery dealer. When the results for 73 are up its now the buying period for lottery 74, and so on and so forth.

      So, now for the two ways the code could be hacked.

      While the values for the winning tickets are still undecided you would save and then check the values. Then reset and check them again, until you narrow down the winning numbers. Now set them to whatever your tickets are and bam. Grand prize every time.

      Or

      Save and then lock the winning values into place by talking to the ticket salesmen. Now do a few searches for your tickets and find where the game stores the info like where the ticket was purchased, what lottery number it was purchased during, what the lottery tickets numbers are, etc. Then hack those numbers to the grand prize number.

      It seems like a very simple code to hack, and I'd do it myself if I had the resources. Hacking codes like that can't be very complicated, but I understand there are few hackers out there able to hack ps2 games... wish I knew what they use to do it.

      I've hacked GBA, SNES, NES, PSX and many other systems, so I wouldn't imagine it's too much different. So far there's only been one code I've tried to make that has me stumped... I can't seem to find a way to hack the bosses max hp in Symphony of the Night... I've found current hp mods, but not the max. >

      And some of those values are shared between bosses, and I'd imagine other monsters in the rooms throughout the castle also share some values with bosses. Anyway, that's off topic. If anybody sees this that can hack ps2 codes that's the basic theory. Ten minutes of work and you'd have a working code, undoubtedly.

          Thanks, iamstillhiro1112, for the warm welcome. Anyway, I come with good news. I was talking with a friend earlier today and he mentioned that he found the code I was looking for a long time ago while at gamefaqs.

          I do not have any idea who originally created these codes, but this is the file he sent me.

          Now for the Lottery:
          ----------------------* Lottery *-----------------------
          25B - Unchecked Ticket 25C - Winning Ticket
          25D - Losing Ticket

          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
          ~ 5. Winning Lottery Ticket Modifiers ~
          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

          Same notes as the Party Item Modifiers. I don't think Luc can play the Lotto.

          Pretty simple. Again, you should empty your party inventory prior to using
          these codes (see the item code description). Load up with your winning
          ticket(s), save, reload without the codes and cash in.

            Re: REQ Suikoden 3

            wonderful

            those are the codes, i am 99.9% sure is and was made by pyrial. i understand that 'alot' of his codes are and were removed, all because of people 'complaining' abut code not working always and such.

            now not saying who is and was complaining, just that yes it did bother him as a code hacker, and we cannot really blame him, someone works so hard and other with nothing constructive to do just tears it down.... kind of the ways of rune but anyway.

            anyway enough of that, would say more on those great codes and a great help for finding them, but my right hand is badly sprung, as anyone can tell from my typing right now.... so will return to this topic well, as soon as i get real feeling in my fingers...feeling meaning not pain ofcorse blahhhh

              Re: REQ Suikoden 3

              I would like to host them here but I'm not sure what format they are in, and if they are encrypted or not. LMZ doesn't want encrypted material.

                Re: REQ Suikoden 3

                well, should ask pyrial 'always' first as i know 'we' do, we are not clone, but those are indeed raw codes

                (pyrial and all other ps2 hackers other then codemaster creates codes in raw format now, via due to the 'new' encyrtion types ONLY CB uses, and well that is a trade secret so no one will be telling that for awhile now....we all know how the code fights are out there even beyone 'us' and that clone site, pelican fighting with datel about codes always and such.... so those are indeed raw, knew and known that for years now, well the years they been out, and pyrial made them.)

                In raw format, this mean they will work for 'any cheat device for the ps2' the only thing you need is the 'right' (m) enable code to cause them to work. (again something you learn alot about once you start to visit codemaster's project site.)

                Now again being the 'official' plecian codes made by codemaster uses their now 'special' encrytion, you 'cannot' use these raw codes under the same game title....like on default now suikoden 3 and suikoden 4 are ON ver 9.0 of codebreaker, but to add these codes, again the codebreaker can and will use raw, you just must make two game lisitngs, make another suikoden 3 and list the 'home brew' codes again made by such other hackers as pyrial and gamemasterzer0.

                sometimes it seems a boither, but really is no big deal, and understandible, but as is and was asked, yes indeed those codes are indeed raw no encytion at all, can be used on 'any' ps2 cheat device, codebreaker, gameshark, and even actionreplay, the only thing again is you will need the right (m) code for each device.

                so again to start rounding out these next gen systems, you could add those, however, as is, I know we do, would really ask pyrial first, I know we do, just making clear as well.... well it seems pyrial has not been around anywhere in a while it seems....
