    Um...

I think JoeresioRex's wording was a little ambiguous at the beginning of this post. The codes were hacked by me.

Wow! JoeresioRex led us to believe he did that work. Not cool.

Mattrizzle, sorry to see your work being stolen/uncredited. Just know that GameHacking.org does not condone such a thing.

JoeresioRex, your post violates rule #8 so this is your first warning before your first ban. Give credit where it's due.
I only bother with things that interest me.

Sorry about the mix-up, and thank you for clearing it up. I went through the database and made sure your codes from your first post here were properly credited, and made you part of the hacker group; so you have complete control of your existing codes in our database and can add more on your own in the future if you wish.

Yeah you won't be seeing JoeresioRex anymore since he already got what he wanted.

I don't think he was actually trying to to make it look like he made the codes, but he certainly left it up in the air for us to think it.

If you read his post over at RHDN, he said he's "willing to make a donation to whoever can pull this off...if its even possible." I hope he pays, but I think we all know what will happen.

Yeah, but the good thing is that I never expected him to follow through with the donation in the first place. I hack because it is a hobby of mine, not because I want to be monetarily compensated for it.

Just discovered this is on Data Crystal's RAM Map of Super Mario Kart, which I have never contributed to. Thus, I don't deserve credit for that specific code.

It seemed like he did but the reason we have the rule in place is because of things like this.

Cool idea. I want to give it a whirl, but alas... I'm at work today.

Let me take a quick second to clear a few things up for the confused. I NEVER took credit for the work that was put in to make it happen nor did I plan to go around and make it seem as if I created the codes. I simply had a request and it was fulfilled. I also stated that as I came upon things I would share it with the community. End of story I lived up to my word. I am a novice hacker at best and have absolutely no interest in taking credit for work that isn't mine. Simply not that kinda person. My passion is Pro Gaming not hacking but I have a high respect for what you guys do. Just needed to clear that up for those who misunderstood the issue. I know it's against policy and I'm totally fine with whatever infraction occurs but I WILL make a donation to the creator of the codes if they are willing to accept. A man of my word.

JoeresioRex, Though I have already said this in the private message I sent you, I would like to say it again for all to see. I forgive you. Also, I have to apologize for ever doubting you and causing others to paint you in a bad light.

After digging deeper into the subroutine posted earlier, I found jump tables to all of the behavioral subroutines for the different items. As the CPU items all share one subroutine (there is yet another jump table within this subroutine, indexed by character value), changing two bytes should make all of them behave like the red shell.
