GoodCBC r5 and the set of day1 text files it's based on attached to first post. And with that, barring any further discovered code errors (which I'm quite sure there are more than a few remaining), this will be the final revision!Missing LiquidManZero since 1685.

I have a small request if I may: Could you post the entire archive of the original untouched Day1's? There is a reason for this madness I assure you.
I have a phat PS2 with a Crystal Chip 2 SLE fitted. While many mod chip makers added bypasses to fix the anti modchip detection routines in codebreaker (like Matrix), the crystal chip guys somewhat missed that boat before the big FBI raids. They managed to add one fix to the firmware before they went the way of the dodo; they added a bypass fix for *JUST* Codebreaker 9.3, and *only* when booted from a disc in "Enhanced" mode. Codebreaker 9.3 as an ELF, and 9.2 / 10.0 in *any* shape or form will NOT work while the chip is active. I've tried every patch floating around the net; PS2TG's cracked versions, ffgriever's various patch routines, etc. Unfortunately, as it seems no one ever unpacked CB9.3, I can't do the hex editing myself.
That being said, if I stick my chip in "hardware sleep mode", and use FMCB/FHBD for elf loading ability, yes every version works just fine. I still have the original CBv92_GSHI_DAY1_ELFLDR / CBv92_GH_DAY1_ELFLDR patchers before the straight up modified elfs were posted. It's great to see the server database up again.
I also appreciate the Day1's are still up for grabs on CodeTwink, but I was hoping I might avoid downloading everything one file at a time. Ideally applying misfire's RSA fix to 9.3 would be the best route, but that seems to be a dead avenue.

PS2 COMPATIBLE USB FLASH PEN DRIVES
Q. Which USB pen drives work with Codebreaker?
A. Here's a list of compatible USB drives:
* Lexar Jumpdrive - $20-$40 @ BestBuy.com
* PNY Attache - $20 for 128mb @ BestBuy.com
* Sandisk Cruzer Micro - $17 for 128mb @ CompUSA
* Memorex - $20 for 128mb (unconfirmed price)
* The PSP - Compatible as a gamesave/code save storage device.
* iLo MP3 Player - $65 (average) for 256mb storage. Verified it myself.
* Dell USB Pen Drives - $30 for 128mb
When purchasing a USB drive, remember that unless you plan on other uses for your pen drive, you won't need one larger than 64mb (that's the size of 8 PS2 memory cards). That kind of storage is more than you will ever need for your PS2.

There's also another post with additional compatible drives, including known issues etc, in particular with a v11 slimline, at this FAQ topic..

Man that list is outdated. I'm guessing that's an archived post dlevere keeps around for cutting and pasting, or he pulled it out of an old thread on his forum, CMP, or this site. The links probably go to the FAQ threads I put up on CMGSCCC ages ago, and no links to it will work, because even before CMX repurposed the site as gamer grindr (ahead of his time, as always), he liked to wipe the forums back to nothing every 6-12 months.
I doubt you can buy most of those drives anywhere other than e-bay or garage sales, and you'd probably have to be extremely lucky. My guess is that most any common flash drive you might buy today will be incompatible with the CB for various reasons.
If the CB says the file is corrupted, it may actually be able to read files on your drive. However, none of the CBC files bfoos posted will work with an 8.1 CodeBreaker unless you have the upgrade file and the CB is actually able to load it. I'd suggest you test the CB's ability to use your drive by copying a game save to it from one of your memory cards. I think the 8.1 had that ability.Last edited by Pyriel; 07-07-2015, 10:32:35 PM.

Oh, thank you very much! It is really very useful for those who like to play games. I generally like such forums where you can find a lot of useful information. For example, I can share with you an excellent article that I recently found on the Internet. In general, the article is about how to export contacts from salesforce and I want to say that for many it will be very useful information.
