    GG Mass Crypt v 1.1

I wrote this program because I was tired of manually converting one code at a time in our current game genie converters. GG Mass Crypt currently has the ability to convert blocks of raw ROM codes into blocks of Game Genie or Vice Versa. Just copy the codes in question into the desired side, and have them output to the other side in a single button click (where you can then just copy them like you did the original set).

    Preview:

    Supports:
    Super Nintendo
    Genesis

    Requires:
    .Net Framework 3.5

    Systems Coming Soon:
    Game Boy
    Game Gear
    Nintendo

    Features Coming Soon:
    Code Porting

    Change Log:
v1.1 - Added Support for Genesis
v1.0 - Added Support for Super Nintendo

Please report any bugs in this thread. Enjoy!

Very nice indeed ,could you implement the ability to just copy anything that isnt a code over to the output side which is chosen. The reason behind this is I'm lazy and was going to have the code name above the actual code be converted from raw and just copy and paste the new Encrypted code with the Code Title into a file instead of having to enter (copy/paste) each code and its title, if this can't be done or is too much work I can live with it. Nice work though.

It should be able to be done, though the titles may exceed the width of the text objects (only visually). I will see if I can include this functionality within the next build released.

Great! I actually tried it before I posted the request and kept getting an unhandled error.

Sweet; great creation. This should be added to the Downloads section.

Having realized I inadvertently wrote myself a reminder (heh), I added this to the Downloads page. Thanks for creating it, Abystus

Thanks for the add Lazy. This programs functionality will be combined with rimsky82's NESTool as a compilation project (under a different name) covering a greater scope of systems, and will be released at some point in the near future. At the moment we are attempting to retain everything about both applications that people like, along with expanding it's feature list to make it a versatile hacking tool for a wide variety of systems. With that being said, this project will be discontinued when the joint effort is released, as it will be obsolete. Until that time this project will see updated releases when I have more time to work on it.

@ Abystus I was going to suggest what you already said will be done. It's really great to hear that.

Nice job. Much needed app, but where's the open source love? and why the hell does everyone keep feeling the need to use this .Net bullshit?

Thanks. This app actually got merged with the GHTool early in its development. People program in .Net to save time, and have access to a framework which is saving them countless lines of code. I can see how you would want to stick with what your familiar with, but OOP along with .Net are what most things are based around for the most part (companies like the fast development time). It will cut your programming time in half (or maybe even more), and allow you to spend more time doing the stuff you want (gui design, implementing new features, etc...) instead of spending a ton of time just getting the gui code written in Win32 C++, let alone any other features you want to implement.

Good to see you around again, and yes it's time for you to get back into programming (*cough cough* Renegade for 64 bit Windows 7 ).
