I thought a bit about Artemis and the current development situation. In my opinion the current repository layout is a complete mess and should be revised from scratch.
First of all, I'd like to rename my development branch to ps2rd and make it a project of its own (though still a part of Artemis). Not only would the new name reflect what Jimmi and I want it (artemis-next) to be - a remote debugger -, it'd also stop the arguing about what "Artemis" really is and will be. The name would rather stand for a collection of tools to hack/debug PS2 games, with ps2rd, ps2cc, etc. being parts of it.
The maintainer/author of each sub-project gets exclusive admin access to her/his repository and can decide what to do with it. This layout would also benefit development with Mercurial.
I intentionally made this is a public discussion. There's been too much private talk lately.
That's a great idea, and it would allow us to consolidate considerably. We should still keep the BountySource account for bounties down the road, of course.
