ps2rd was created for PS2 Gamers so they wouldn't be forced to use commercialized cheat brands (i.e. CodeBreaker and etc.) for the PS2.

ps2rd requires unencrypted cheat codes (RAW). Most commercialized cheat brands encrypt their cheat codes so other brands can't use them - War between companies, etc.
