  • What is the purpose of these values/codes you can find in almost every 3d game?

Many times I have found some weird codes (float values) in the RAM that can cause really weird, but funny effects to the game. I call these codes "seizure codes" because that's what it looks like. Some examples:

These codes - i must say - are quite enchanting . But what is their regular purpose for the game?
The value is always static and has affect to all animated things. But I don't think they have something to do with the animation since there are animation files/scripts..
I have found such codes in n64, gcn, wii and PC games

Some of them are probably constants for the physics engine, and others are for the rendering engine, etc. You'd have to study up on the engines in question to say for certain, and it's hard to tell just by the effects in the video. You're changing a lot in your codes too. Looking at the first one, I'd guess you might have been altering orientation, moments of inertia, and general aspects of rigidity. The one girl at least doesn't go completely wonky until she tries to move more than an arm, at which point it's like everything accelerates all at once.
