  • Another SvR 11 Game-Freeze Bug Discovered

This one revolves around saving the game (or not doing so, to be more precise). If you fail to save the game between shows in Universe mode, the game will freeze during the next match you play. this can be pretty annoying, so...just save the game whenever possible to prevent this glitch.

You need to be more specific on the game name and platform and country, I have no idea what game it is you're talking about.

This game-freeze bug probably affects all regions of the PSP version of the game, and still affects modded versions (CrocoX111's WWE '12, Jarniboi's Extended-roster mod). The versions I saw it on were Croco's WWE '12, arbab15's WWE '12, xhardyxxx36's WWE '11, adityadewz' WWE '12, srxm1995am's SmackDown vs RAW vs TNA '12, Jarniboi's Extended Roster Hack, and (of course) the default game itself. All of these were based on the ULUS-10543 version.

As you can see, I've tried out quite a few different modded versions of SvR 11. However, the one that has stood the test of time is the original, plain and simple.

SVR 2010 (PS2 version) has a problem when trying to use the created superstar in Road to Wrestlemania. After you pick the CAW you want it freezes when loading the match. Sometimes opening and closing the lid (slim PS2) will allow it to sometimes work. Maybe this is just a problem with slims I don't know. Also note there were no modchips or softmods when this happened, just a stock SCPH-90001 (FMCB buffer overflow exploit fixed by $ony) model.

Actually, the CAW RTWM glitch is very well-known, and the way to eliminate it is simply give your RTWM character the very move that he is supposed to use as his "new finisher". Or, you can simply default his finishers, and that eliminates ONE of the two bugs in the CAW RTWM. The other occurs later on, and involves the chicken-suit match (Elimination Chamber). The trick is to restore your CAW to his original appearance. Apparently, the game has trouble switching from your CAW's ridiculous 90's pop-star costume to the chicken-suit costume. It doesn't have any problems slapping the chicken suit on a CAW with a "normal" appearance (as in, not wearing the 90's costume).

Also, one final note: it appears that the 6-man tag glitch I kept running into was not caused by breaking up a stable or including non-stable members. It must've been something to do with maxed-out attributes and/or hacked weight class. Once I restored Gigan's weight class and attributes to "normal" levels (overall of 94, and a weight of 400 pounds), I had no further trouble with 6-man tag match game freezes. The only game freeze issue that you have to watch out for, it seems, is the failure-to-save glitch. Thus, always save after every match you play, or at least once per show. If you have auto-save enabled, it WILL save automatically after each match you play. However, when you change shows, always make sure to trigger the auto-save prompt by hitting the back button (Circle).
