Can anyone help me create a code that would give Infinite Battery Life to the Stealth Camo Item? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Code

I hacked a code for CWCHeat for this game. It is as follows:

Infinite Stealth Camo
_C0 Infinite Stealth Camo (by Granddemon)
_L 0x01314008 0x000000C8

With this code enabled, the stealth camo can be used forever. Without it, its energy bar would slowly degrade until eventually being disabled.

FYI: Codes can be inserted into your CWCheat database by doing the following:

1. Connect your PSP to your computer via the USB connection.

2. Open the PSP Memory card and navigate to se_plugins/cwcheat/.

3. Open the Cheats.db file in Notepad (preferably a more powerful editor like Ultra-Edit, since the file can get quite large).

4. Use the Edit->Find feature to search for an entry for your game. Entries for games look like so:
_S ULUS-10202
_G Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

5. Paste the code you want to insert anywhere underneath either the _G of the game or any of the _L code entries for that game. It is usually best to insert it at the end of the list. In the case of my above code, you would just insert the following text under the last Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops code you have:
_C0 Infinite Stealth Camo (by GD)
_L 0x01314008 0x000000C8

That's it!

EDIT: The code doesn't work if you reset the game. Well, so much for that. But at least I posted the guide of adding codes to the DB. Eh, I guess I'll need to hack codes for other games. This reminds me of Pokemon for GameBoy...a bitch to hack for.

The code will need to be ASM since I hacked the shit out of this game when it was first released. Any in stage hacking was for that level only so ASM is the only way to go.
I might be enticed to re-hack this game but as long as you don't reset the game it should be functional like you said.

Yes I have fixed the issue, there was a typo on the original posters thread name but all is good.
