    just change the game id in your cheat db for soul silver/heart gold to match Sacred Gold/Storm Silver game id

    • Slight edit to that post (thanks for the reply, by the way) - it seems none of my games have the option. YuGiOh NT used to, but stopped working and DQ9 worked, now that doesn't. Have I done something wrong? :/

      • In addition to what hawkeyes has stated, Pokemon Storm Silver is probably using a different game id than Pokemon Soul Silver so you should open the usrcheat file in R4CCE and adjust the entry accordingly.

        • Yeah, I've tried that, but the only game I can see a "Cheats (Y)" option for is DQ9, despite having the codes for all the games in the latest version of this. Have I maybe set it up wrong or something?

          • Do you have the latest firmware for R4DS? Also, there seems to be two versions of that Rom hack: Storm Silver - Complete (IPGE D5D82CBF) and Storm Silver - Classic (IPGE C794B178).

            • I've got 1.18 - is that the right one? And yeah, I'm using the Complete version and used R4CCE to find the codes for it and all that. Honestly, I'm stumped as to what's wrong. But it's not just that game that doesn't work - I can only see cheats for Dragon Quest 9.

              • You might want to take a look at this. If updating your firmware doesn't solve your problem, upload your usrcheat so I can look at it.

                • I've updated it again, and I'm back to having YuGiOh NT working but not DQ9 or anything else. Here's my usrcheat...

                  • I don't see your modified Pokemon: Soul Silver entry in the file you've uploaded. However, I've noticed that you've checked the "Game Enabler" boxes for both the US and EU versions of the game; though, I'm not sure why.

                    Replace your cheat file with the one in my attachment. This modified usrcheat has codes for Storm Silver and Sacred Gold (both versions).

                    • Everything works great now, thanks man. Sorry for being such a royal pain in the ass, but really, thanks.

                      • Is there an XML or Action Replay "Subscription" version of this file? If not, then could you please provide or create one?

                        Thank you.

                        • There is an XML version of the file, however, it hasn't been updated since December 15th, 2012. I've hosted it at http://syntechx.com/demonic/downloads/usrcheat/usrcheat.xml. I recommend that you should avoid viewing this file (~34MB) in a web browser as it can cause unresponsive behavior which could then lead to a crash.

                          If you want the current usrcheat as an XML file, simply open it in R4CCE and save it as an XML file. Modify the file so that it looks something like this:
                          Code:
                          [COLOR=#0000ff]<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
                          <subscription>
                            <name>CMP NDS Cheat Database DateHere</name>
                            <codelist>
                              <game-info-and-codes-in-here>
                            </codelist>
                          </subscription>[/COLOR]
                          After your modification, host it somewhere and use this thread as a reference if you shall need assistance. You could also wait until I update the usrcheat.dat, but that's entirely up to you.

                            Thanks for the instructions, man. I managed to do it and make one/convert it.

                            I thought the R4CCE was related to the you-know-what Cart thing that I don't have and assumed that I needed it. That's why I mistakenly passed it over on the first page. So that's my bad.

                            This code database is fantastic (Basically the old GBA Temp database on steroids) and the process of converting it was easier than I thought and I've got it working nicely in the Action Replay Code Manager.

                            I'll probably keep making a new one with each update and permanently back them up for the future. So far it's got all of the codes I need.

                            Thanks for also saving this database from extinction. I was shocked when I saw that GBA Temp wasn't hosting it anymore.

                            Apologies for clogging up the thread.

                            • Codes for Digimon world Dusk (U) and Digimon World Dawn (U) do not work. The codes do not cause any effect.

                              • Is there any code in particular? I can confirm that the Walk Anywhere code works because I've made and tested it.
