  • Code testers needed (NDS)

Hey all. I've been making some NDS codes lately, and I need someone to test codes for me. (I've no way of testing them myself..)

If anyone here would test these for me and verify if they work or not I'd greatly appreciate it.

Yoshi Touch and Go [Codes confirmed to be working by Dualscreenman. Thanks]

    Mario Is Untouchable (CB)

If I can find Yoshi..... then I will test the AR codes.

        Mario is definitely invulnerable.

I don't have the other game, though.

What other games do you have that need to have codes tested?
Cant stand the 32 bit and above gaming.

The Lunar Codes appear to still need testing.

Yes, however the codes I made for Lunar have been hacked by someone else since I posted those codes.

As you can see, both Skiller's and my codes have the same starting offset. Unless Skiller used the same crude way of making these codes as I did, or unless I fucked up on using the 'serial repeater' code type, I'm fairly sure it works.

maybe off topic but how are you hacking these codes? is emulator or actual hardware, and can these be tested on say the R4 or M3 flash cart?these carts use cheats and a database so I can test them out since I can get any game hehe.

For the DS there is the AR trainer but i have heard of people using a DS emulator for hacking games.

My preference is to hack using the hardware. This way i know it will work and also since i am a portable console gamer i like being able to whip out my Gameboy SP with the Gameshark Color and making codes for my games from scratch without looking on GSHI or BSfree (unless necessary).

any idea if the AR trainer works with the flash carts I mentioned above?

I used No$GBA+Cheat Engine and a screwy conversion method to make them. I didn't have an NDS when I made these (and still don't), so I have to use methods like this to make codes for NDS. :X

The one thing I've heard about the major hardware method of hacking NDS stuff... Is that with the crap AR device it does not stop the game while it's searching. While there is other hardware that could be used, it's expensive and requires you to find software to actually hack with it... Emulating NDS is probably the easiest overall way of going about it.

from what i hear VBA has stabilized and has a portable STEALTH version being worked on at Sourceforge.

I havent heard too much about the DS emulation mostly due to the fact most of my info came from a site i am unable to visit. Though i have heard of a project started on Sourceforge, but that was just a quick blurb from a unbeknown source.
