  • NDS Cheats Problem

    Hello, all.
I just started getting into Nintendo DS hacking.
I wanted to make codes for the game Wild West, but noticed that the codes I entered don't work. I'm almost positive I have the right codes:
    Example: 01001AD6 = Invincibility

I enter the code in the emulator, but in the cheat list it comes up as 0x02001AD6. The 2 replaces the 1 and I don't think there's a way to fix that. I'm using DesMuMe, which I assume is from the same creator(s) as SNES9x because the cheat function looks identical and the control layout is similar.

I have a few other codes for the game as well.
    Thanks!

    Main memory starts at 0x02000000.

You can get them to work in Desmume, but I'm not sure if you'll be able to replicate the results on hardware.

Go to: Tools --> Cheats --> List --> Action Replay

After that, insert the code as you would any other AR code. The invincibility is probably an 8-bit write so this should work:
        Code:
        21001AD6 000000??
Edit: I just read the thread that AsPika linked to. That was always a problem with the internal cheats, but you could always circumvent that with the method above.
