Will do. Not promising anything...*crosses fingers in hopes of it working*

Aaaand, if it works, I can get around the whole "turn off after a match" thing--just add a joker command!

Have it set to X and Y buttons, and it only ever works whenever you jump, and it's "off" when you're not jumping.

I give you...the Gift of Xirtamehtsitahw. Drink it in...*Chris Jericho reference*

EDIT: NO, of COURSE it doesn't work! I should've known...I'm not allowed to have things to work out the way they're supposed to. A "payment" of frustration is ALWAYS required. URGH!

And another thing: do I actually NEED the Gateway RAM tool?

And one final thing: why on Earth do you not have the latest version of Sm4sh?

Yes, it did. And, I tried to get .NET framework to install on my laptop, and of course, it fails. It's as if I'm predestined to not be able to get pointers to work.

And, is the Gateway RAM tool necessary for finding pointers? We could make much faster progress if we just go to the chatroom.

I was SO close to getting the pointer to work, but I'm stuck with a pair of addresses which look like this:

        317C3AB4 and 30AF96B4

The pointer searcher program said those addresses were "too large". What do I have to do?

I just got a crazy idea: I'll PM you my two RAM dumps, along with the addresses I found.

As far as I know, yes.
I'll grab the update for Smash.
I'll do it tomorrow when I get some sleep.

I tried to hack that pointer after FINALLY getting .NET framework 4.5 to install, only for the limitations of my laptop to AGAIN get in the way. This time, it's due to only having 2 GB of onboard RAM, and the TempAR pointer searcher program uses almost ALL of it! Seriously, the thing is a friggin' LEECH! It uses so much RAM that it basically brings my laptop to a standstill. And...I currently don't have enough money to purchase additional RAM for my laptop, so I'm ONCE AGAIN back at square 1. Would really appreciate a reply.

I can't exactly PM you my dumps because they are so large--they're easily over a gigabyte apiece. And...how do I even go about PM'ing attachments? I don't even see a way of doing that when I go to send a PM.

You're going to have to PM me your email address, so I can email you the RAM dumps (they're already in raw format). Plus, I'll tell you what the addresses are.

For 00000000-raw.bin, the address is 317C3AB4.

For 00000001-raw.bin, the address is 30AF96B4.

Oh, and please ignore the "bathroom innuendo".

                  I need the actual files.
The addresses will come in handy as well so thank you for posting those.

I finally found out a rather roundabout way to get the files to you. I had to send the original, compressed files, in RAR format, so I could minimize the total size of the files I needed to upload (my upload speed is glacial).

I've already sent them. Why is it taking you so long to reply? I apologize for the impatience, but wouldn't it be easier for us to communicate via chatroom? That way, we can do so in real time.

FINALLY found out how to use the save/equipment editor and badge editor for Sm4sh. And...even cooler: the Gateway cheat menu still works on the .cia version of Sm4sh! w00t!

Soon, I'll have an invincible, giant, multi-jumping cast of characters beating the stuffing out of the suddenly UNDER-powered 9.0-difficulty AI in Classic Mode! LOL

I can already fairly easily destroy the 9.0-difficulty AI using my current list of cheats. However, adding a bunch of "Steroids Badges" (hacked Agility/Protection/Brawn badges) will turn my already OP characters into literal gods against the AI!

                        9.0-difficulty AI? Meet 50.0-difficulty...ME! I win.

I'm kinda busy with stuff sorry. I'll take a look now.

Edit: you got the same results I did.
The dumps you gave me, are the ones I got on version 1.1.4.

                          Try this one again.
                          68029310 00000000
                          B8029310 00000000
                          B0000F50 00000000
                          20000688 00000000
                          D2000000 00000000

Do not add any button activators. Just use the code itself, do not change anything. Remember, only activate this code During a match!

If that doesn't work try this one:
                          68029350 00000000
                          B8029350 00000000
                          B0000F50 00000000
                          20000688 00000000
                          D2000000 00000000

Again, I apologize for my impatience. Should realize that you have this thing called A LIFE, and I should let you live it.

Anyway, I wish you luck on that infinite-jumps code! ^w^

                              I posted 2 examples above.
Activate them in a solo match or training.
Only activate them in a match and don't mess with the code. Just add it like you see it and test it out it a match.

EDIT: Yes, you can use it in training mode! The code WORKS! Turns out I may have just mistyped it the first time.

                                Dybbles, you are the SAUCE!
