  • Final fantasy IV the Complete Collection/after years has some bad hacked codes.

After long hours of browsing I stumbled upon a website that holds the code of FFIV CC, they work on any version so I started to use them, however there is this big problem, using them on the 2nd chapter of the crystals (last chapter of FFIV The After Years) cuts 75% of the cast (Edge's ninjas, Parom, Harley and several others) from the selection replacing them with A soldier, A monk and Biggs.

    This is the website

    And these are the codes

    _C0 ITEM 99
    _L 0x80794256 0x01210002
    _L 0x00000063 0x00000000

_C0 OPEN 99 individual items and belongings
    _L 0x807940BC 0x028E0002
    _L 0x00000050 0x00000000

Both codes work on the part 1, but i you have them for part 2, say goodbye to the cast. A bit annoying tbh, so if anyone can check around and see where the issue is I would be grateful.

I can't give ram dumps atm because I am uploading some stuff, so i'll submit them later.

Here we go, the first link contains two ramdumps, ramdump0 is before I activated either of the codes, ramdump1 is after I activated them. I also include ona separate file my save of the after years scenario, the one that dislays Cecil with a level is one where the code has not been activated, the last save on the last slot of the game is the one with the code active.

    Link1
    and link 2

On a clsoer examination, the code does not gives all items. However gives a look at this can try to fix that too? Eventually the code might tell you that your entire inventory is now made out of killer bows, this is when the code gives all the items, all the way to the debug ones.

If you manage to get all the items hacked in you can progress as intended through the crystals scenario as it seems to hack two or more different sets of frying pans.
