  • Request: Guilty Gear XX Accent Core (NTSC-U Wii)

First, please note that this request is for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, not Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus.

Anyway, could someone hack a code to have Infinite Energy for Player 1 and zero energy for Player 2? And also a time modifier or a way to set the time to zero would be appreciated.

If for some reason the hacker also wants to hack the same codes for the Plus version, then go right ahead, but right now I'm only interested in codes for the original game.

Holy crap I made my first wii code.

    Infinite Energy Player 1
    034e681e 000000FF

    Zero Energy Player 2
    034e6942 00000000

Can anyone tell me what format does Dolphin give you the search results in? Gecko? decrypted AR?

The codes look like gecko, but I have them added as AR and they work.

Also, when searching, I was selecting 8-bit and was getting no meaningful results. When I changed to 16-bit, I did.
Am I supposed to make all searches 16-bit when looking for GC/Wii codes?

Can you upload the RAM dumps of this game during gameplay, so I can port my PS2 codes to the wii version.

Direct Write codes format are same for gecko and decrypted AR format.

8-bit, 16-bit and 32bit are what is max value to search for.

Great. I don't know which one you wanted, so here are all the ram dumps:

        https://www.sendspace.com/file/zi7cnz

So it's better to always search in 32bit mode then?

the max health is 420 (01A4) value
          see example below
420 (01A4) is out of range for 8bit but in range for 16bit

          8-bit 000 to 255 (00 to FF)
          16-bit 256 to 65535 (0100 to FFFF)
          32-bit 65536 to 4294967295 (00010000 to FFFFFFFF)

How can I port codes like you did?

There are some Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance codes for the PS2 that I really need for the Gamecube version. But I don't know how to port them.
What do I need to find in the ram dump of the GC version to be able to bring those PS2 codes?

you would need RAM dumps of both games

however if the code is ASM hack code that need to rehack again

What code you want port over?

Ram dumps of both games? darn it.

The codes I would like to port are the ones found in the "Have Konquests Completed Codes" group. ( http://gamehacking.org/?game=104313 )

It's basically a mission mode where you have to complete missions under certain conditions and there are like 300 of those. I would like to reach the ending of that mode, but 300 missions is a lot and they involve beating characters making complicated combo moves (in the later missions), which I'm not experienced enough to do. If all you had to do was drain their energy, then it would be no problem. But you actually have to complete the tasks they give you.

An easier alternative would be to just make a code to automatically win the mission. But no one has made that code for the PS2 or GC version yet.

I'd like to suppport that idea of porting the codes to accent core + and the Konquest mode, I got stuck with Hotaru and like the OP I lack sufficient skill to play Konquest insane combos.

Yeah the Konquest codes are posted on the site.

Hopefully one day he could also port the ones for Mortal Kombat Deception too.

I am no mortal Kombat fan but I did enjoy Konquest as it shows the possibility of the series moving from a figthing game to something else.

That already happened with Mortal Kombat Mythologies and Shaolin Monks.
