  • Pix'n Love Rush About to "Byte the Dust"!

Going to make this actually CODE-LESS (that TempAR code provided by raing3 does NOT work)!

Found out, however, that it has a "pointer effect"--when I hack a permanent 10x-multiplier code, it doesn't work the next time I play the game. No, I don't even have to turn the game off. I just play through once (the 5-minute Rush), then go to play again, and the code I first found doesn't work.

Oh, well--looks like this is where Pointer Searcher comes in (or whatever that app is called).

Is it even compatible with TempAR?

Raing3 is the one who made the tool so it should work with it as I've used it before.

Well, finding a pointer for this game shouldn't be a problem, then. Let my score shoot through the roof and get that cute kitty-cat some CAKE! LOL

Strangely, I don't know if there IS any "cake" to be had in this game, unless beating Cursed Rush does so. Haven't done that yet--still trying to find a moon-jump code for this game. I've found a few of these for some rather oddly-chosen games--SmashgPSP, Metroid: Zero Mission, Super Mario World (the SNES version) and I've even tried to find a better one for Super Mario Advance 3: Super Mario World 2--Yoshi's Island (easily the LONGEST name for an English-language GBA game! )

I lost the NTSC-U Copy of Pikmin 2 for Gamecube; so I ain't got a way to rip that disc. I can rip the NTSC-U version for Wii, however.

Pix'n Love Rush is NOT a misspelling of Pikmin 2. The two are entirely different games. However, I will agree with you on this score: Pix'n Love Rush is a rather obscure PSP Mini, which very few people have actually heard of. Then again, I'm the kind of person who hoards obscure video game knowledge like a dragon hoards treasure.

Pix'n Love Rush is a rather simple jump-and-run game, where the object is to have Pix the cat collect all the plus signs, while avoiding minuses and getting hit by bats. Also, in later levels, you will have to try to protect angels (which look vaguely like the bats, but have tiny halos over their "heads"). If the angel takes a hit, your health meter goes down, as it does when hit by a bat. Grabbing a minus only subtracts from your combo multiplier.

Pix can shoot little pellets with a high arc, similar to the Hammer Bro Suit from Super Mario Bros. 3. However, that's where the similarity ends--Pix can be hurt by his own projectiles, so you have to be careful when and where you shoot.

Pikmin, on the other hand, is a series of games entirely lacking in cats. It stars Olimar, a tiny astronaut who crash-lands on a small planet populated by both Pikmin (the cute little plant-creatures) and larger, more dangerous animals (who usually only come out after dark).

Seeing as how this thread actually died some time ago, I recommend it be closed by an admin. Passban, necroposting is frowned upon in this forum, so I suggest looking at the date of whatever thread you want to post in before you actually do so. Also, your username is somewhat suspicious. Are you a former member who was banned, and are now trying to skirt the ban by using a new account? If not, I apologize in advance. If so, however, I'll have to report you to an admin or mod for perma-ban status.
