  • Converting Pikmin 2 AR Codes for Gamecube to Wiird/Ocarina...

Can anyone do this, convert the AR codes to Wiird Codes for New Play Control! Pikmin 2 [R92E01]? This is NTSC-U, by the way.

    Full Exploration Kit (donny2112)
    X6XP-NYBY-1TZ77
    NUER-3UDU-CAA1G

Always Start with 100 Bulbmin (Story Mode) (donny2112)
    FHEP-8V4Z-BWA29
    FQ42-J4K1-RHJC7
    7KHW-PJFE-WXTE5

I've tried it myself, to no avail.

Those need to be converted to work for the Wii format, obviously.

Actually, let me show you something. There's a difference in the codes:

This is the NPC! Pikmin 2 code for Infinite Spicy Spray:

            [Crazy52]
            42000000 90000000
            05A45CA8 00000063
            E0000000 80008000

And this is the code decrypted from the Gamecube version:
            05B4DC53 08000000
            0492F834 00000063

Now, let me explain this: I used Gecko, the New Play Control!, NOT the Gamecube version... and after I used the gamecube version of the code onto the Wii version of Pikmin 2, it crashed. So, no, I do not believe it's a problem on my end.

Well, apart from that, I've tried making the Bulbmin code work to drop Purple Pikmin... this is the result of my attempt...

                            Code:
Start with 100 Purple Pikmin (Story Mode)
                            42000000 90000000
                            03A45DD8 00170000
                            05A45E1C 00000064
                            E0000000 80008000
Of course, no Purple Pikmin came falling out of the sky like Bulbmin would do with this code:
                            Code:
Always Start with 100 Bulbmin (Story Mode) (donny2112)
                            42000000 90000000
                            03A45D28 00170000
                            05A45D6C 00000064
                            E0000000 80008000
I thought I could use some math here, but apparently that wasn't enough.

Edit: Actually, scratch that; I've figured out how to make the code work.

                            Code:
Start with 100 Purple Pikmin (Story Mode)
                            42000000 90000000
                            03A45D4C 00030000
                            05A45D54 00000032
                            E0000000 80008000

So, I ported this code from Y.S., but I've run into a little snag...

                              Invincible Pikmin (Y.S.)
                              041DD4C0 4BEB9710
                              04?????? 38000005
                              04003E84 7C03E000
                              04003E88 40820010
                              04003E8C 7C1D1800
                              04003E90 41810008
                              04003E94 800300BC
                              04003E98 481468DC

Can anyone give me a hand with this? Before you ask, no, putting "003E80" on the "??????" does not work. Here are the RAM dumps for both games.
