  • LEGO Marvel Superheroes: Universe in Peril Valuable Info

This game is a very good, albeit simplistic LEGO "smash'em-up" type game, featuring tons of characters from pretty much all the Marvel story arcs.

The list of characters includes, but is definitely not limited to: X-Men characters such as Wolverine and Jean Gray, all four Fantastic 4 members, numerous variations on Spider-man and Iron Man (including Pepper Pots' "Ironheart" suit), and even some more obscure characters such as Star Lord and a cameo appearance (in a cutscene) of Groot and Rocket Raccoon. The best character in the game (and the hardest to unlock, by far) is Stan Lee, who has some pretty cool melee combo moves as well as a REALLY fast-firing red-and-blue fireball. I highly doubt that Galactus is in this version, as I have only four characters left to unlock, and none of them is Galactus (the characters are in alphabetical order).

As far as Red Bricks go, I won't reveal where they are, but I will tell you what they do:

You can have up to three active at one time during each level.

There are double, triple, quad and x5 super-move slots, x2 stud multiplier, invincibility, collectible detector (helps you find both Red Bricks and Mini-kits), health regeneration (now EVERYONE can be like Wolverine!), an extra heart (gives you five hearts per character instead of four), Party Time (makes enemies "go disco" and usually not attack) and a small handful of "funny" or "joke" powerups--animal sounds, honking sounds, bubble effects, confetti effects, and big heads.

Finally, there are "only" 225 gold bricks to collect throughout the game, spread over 45 "mini-levels". Some of these mini-levels may take upwards of five minutes (that's a long time when trying to collect over 40,000 studs when most of them are of the gold and silver variety--100 and 10 studs, respectively). However, the mini-levels are not overly complicated (for the most part--I can't find the blasted Mini-kit in the first prison level...I'm beginning to think there isn't one, even though one of the gold bricks requires that you find it). I've already found 200 of the 225 gold bricks in the game, and am still holding out a tiny sliver of hope that maybe, just maybe, Galactus is unlocked when you find all of them.

Sorry about that. This is for the Nintendo DS, EUR version, Game ID is TLMD (audio is in German, with multi-language subtitle support).

The code I would REALLY like is a time-freeze code, specifically for the last Multi-part challenge I have left to complete (and it's a doozy), in the Landing Pad. You only have 100 seconds to complete the level AND kill five Brotherhood mutants with TAG moves (these things take forever to charge up, but you start with one). Needless to say, I have yet to complete this challenge. I have 223 of the 225 total gold bricks this game has, and only have one character left to unlock, that being War Machine, and that's why I need help in completing the Multi-part challenge (it unlocks War Machine).

Provide us a save state or the SRAM of the game in that part of the game and someone will hack it.

This games is so differently from other LEGO games. So, this job need more save games before finding some difference value for each some unlock characters, powers, having red bricks for buying something, max yellow bricks etc...

If it's too difficult to hack timer codes in this game (there is a slight possibility that the game uses separate addresses for the timer on each level...probably to deter aspiring time-freeze-code hackers), then could someone please offer an effective strategy to complete the Landing Pad multi-part challenge? IMO, 100 seconds to beat the level, PLUS kill off five enemies with tag moves (which seem to charge about as fast as molasses in January), is like trying to beat the NES game "Ghosts 'n Goblins" blindfolded...while holding the controller UPSIDE-DOWN!

Do tag moves charge up faster if you run around collecting studs? I know that super moves run off that principle.

I suppose that a little experimentation won't hurt. It's not like some of my gold bricks are going to be taken away for failing to beat this particular challenge...

Oh, and could someone PLEASE tell me where that darn mini-kit is in the Prison Entrance level? I've looked all over that level, even with the Mini-kit finder active, and can't find the darn thing! It's as if it has an anti-mini-kit-detector forcefield on it or something.

Play that stage while in story mode with default 2 character (random). After finish the stage, replay again and this time use any character (you must buy it first) and go find anywhere by destroy anything else. Sometimes is was hidden in walls. Use Hulk for smashing crackable walls OR destroy the switch with some other characters etc. If your money (studs) is not enough, replay any stages OR use money codes (see my thread) and buy all characters first before replay any stages again. I currently playing as Iron Man at his home building with Captain America right now.

I've had it with the blasted AI bots in the Landing Pad challenge! If there's anything they can do to hinder your (dozens of) attempts to complete this crazy multi-part challenge, they'll gladly do it, even if it would mean deliberately stepping straight into a lightning bolt, or standing on opposite ends of the level to avoid being taken out by a single tag move, or only appearing in pairs, to make it harder to take them out in a timely fashion. Anything the game can do to make this challenge nearly impossible, it does. I wonder if the 100-second time limit counts down faster than one unit per second, because the time really seems to fly in this particular level. I've seen some challenges where I can get quite a bit done, and only 20 seconds has ticked off the clock. Just to nearly instantly take out the first two enemies with a tag move eats up about 30 seconds off the clock!

It's one thing to make this a difficult challenge by placing such a stringent time limit on it. It's another to have the AI bots apparently aware you're attempting to complete a challenge, and actually do anything within their (rather cheap) programming to hinder your attempts to complete this challenge. Try to charge up all the lightning rods as quickly as possible? The AI will quickly put a stop to that by having one or both bots stand close enough that you start hitting THEM instead of the lightning rod you were aiming at. Try to take them out quickly to rack up your tag-move quota? The AI will put a stop to THAT by simply having the bots stand far apart, to minimize being simultaneously taken out by a single tag move. Plus, tag moves seem to charge up a lot slower during this challenge than normal. Who can I use who has a fast tag-move charge rate? I believe that different characters have different tag move charge rates.

That link is for the PC/PS3/4/XBox 360/One version of the game. I don't know if it applies to the Wii U, but I highly doubt it (though this game did get a Wii U release...back in November of last year). It doesn't have DS info, as far as I know (don't have the time/patience to sift through 114 pages of highly detailed info regarding the more advanced version of this game).

However, the good news is I may have just been hired by my local Lowes as a receiving associate (I'll be unloading the delivery trucks, but won't have to place the merchandise upon the shelves--they have stocking associates for that ). That, and the fact that my tax return money for last year is going to be coming into my checking account shortly (possibly by this Friday).

The tax return is going to mainly be a monetary cushion to keep me from going broke (again) until my first paycheck arrives. After that, I'll have to be pretty frugal with my money (sock some of each check away in my savings account) until I save up enough to purchase a new laptop.

My tax return suffered (is still suffering) a bit of a delay, because of it bouncing upon the IRS trying to direct-deposit it in my bank account. I believe that was because the IRS was using year-old info regarding my checking account (which has since been cancelled and a new one opened up). However, it should arrive sometime next week (the "Where's My Refund?" mini-site said that it would be mailed BY March 10. It could be mailed tomorrow, but most likely this Monday).

I'll use it (and the Gamestop store credit I'll get by trading in my PSP Go) to purchase another DS Lite (hopefully I'll be able to re-purchase the one I sold to them a couple of weeks ago--I loved the black-and-blue color scheme).

As for this site, I'm glad it's up and running again, thanks to what turned out to be an annoying DDoS (which was eventually cancelled). I'm definitely looking forward to playing LEGO Marvel Superheroes and Gauntlet DS with the codes that AsPika2219 hacked. Now, could I get you to hack an infinite-health code for Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet (U), AsPika? I apologize for asking you to hack so many codes, but it seems you're a much more advanced hacker than I am, and I lack any sort of method to hack DS codes myself (my PC is too old and slow).

This game crashes no$gba emulator as soon as its loaded. I was going to hack an ASM time code which might work in that stage but if the emulator doesn't start then oh well.

Try iDeaS; it has a built-in cheat-search feature, and many games which crash no$gba work on iDeaS. It's worth a shot, anyway. Failing that, there is also Desmume as a last resort.

Oh, and though this is slightly off-topic, could you please help me by finding an infinite-health code for Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet (US)? It's for the DS as well (I believe it only came out on DS). Either that or how about an actual invincibility code (your characters don't even register the enemy shots, though they might still flash red)? You might have to find two, one for each hero in play (you get two at a time--MOST of the time; bosses require you to use a single hero).

The game ID for Infinity Gauntlet is BNYE, and the CRC32 (according to my R4 flashcart) is C888E97F. That info might come in handy.

Sorry Helder! This games can't run on No$gba dubugger version 2.6a right now. I hope Martin Korth (nogba) will update it soon. Plus, this games has no AP on it. So, use any emulator OR tools likes cheat engine, artmoney etc for hacking games.
