Hacking the new Sim City

I've been playing this game for a couple months now and decided it was time to see if I could get some "extra" money. You do play online and have the choice to play with other people, but I've been playing alone the whole time so the extra money wasn't going to affect anyone else. I used CE and found 4 addresses that had the value for money, but only one of them actually changed the dollar amount. I hacked in some extra cash and everything was working fine. After about 5 minutes, the game brought up a window saving that the game wasn't processing properly and needed to restart. The only choice was to click OK, after which it gave me the choice to delete that city, or restore to a previous state (I'm sure it would be before the hacking attempt). I just deleted the city because I was pretty much done with it.

I had a second city that I tried hacking the money with, but this time I changed all 4 money addresses at the same time, and for the same amount. It's OK for now. Will let you know how it turns out.

Let me know how this turns out as I bought this for my kid to play and playing outside the Sandbox mode with money would be nice. I'm sure the game checks in with the server to see if major changes occurred that shouldn't and why you got that message.

Changing all 4 addresses didn't work. I didn't get a message, but when I restarted my game, the extra money was gone. I guess I'll play in the sandbox for awhile, since that has built-in money cheats.
