Tried it and it changed my lives and HP but I didn't see the other buttons do anything, could you explain where it has to be used? I used it on a save state where I was in the menu to choose the bosses. The game won't load the stage but that could be just my emulator acting up since it was when I booted it but it could be the save state also might be corrupt from the editor. I used this on the USA version of the game.
