This is a often wished for, but never hacked Hard hack for Castlevania SOTN. I remember in the early days people were doing equipmentless, low level, runs throught the game to try to make it harder. That's how badly people wanted a hard mode for this game. This seems like a pretty thourogh hack. I didn't play it long but one of the first enemies I ran into dealt double the damage. So it's not ridiculously hard like Castlevania HOD's hard mode. But seems enough was changed for it to be a challenge again. I recommend people check this hack out.
