We're not sure if it was mere minutes, hours, or seconds after it was released on Android but the leader board for Bethesda's Fallout Shelter has already been hacked, according to this Polygon report. The strategy sim game for mobile set in the Fallout universe was released this morning on Google Play. Sometime shortly after it was released, somebody already managed to hack the game's Android leader boards.
Reddit user MrWoddleWoodle provided Polygon with a screenshot of the hacked leader boards, which it confirmed on an Android device with the game installed.
According the screenshot, someone named "Jake Pile" is at the top of the heap with a score of 2 billion, followed by "Bytesize TestUser" with nearly 16,000 points, and "Bethesda QA" coming in third.
Someone using the name "Poile" had a happiness percentage of 1 billion out of a maximum 100 on the leader boards.
Bethesda has yet to publicly respond to the hacked leader boards, as of this writing.
Thanks to PHX Corp. for the tip.
