  • .ff file?

I'm trying to access the question/answer data of an old DOS trivia game. Judging by the file names it looks like all the data is stored in .ff files. If I google .ff file all I get is info about ff files related to Call of Duty. Anyone know how to go about opening/editing these?

    What is a FF file?

Files that contain the .ff file extension are most commonly used by a variety of gaming applications. Commonly referred to as Fast Files, the information that is stored in the FF files will vary depending on the game that the file is associated with.

Some of the games that use the .ff file extension include Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Freedom Force and Freedom Force vs The Third Reich.

The .ff file suffix is also commonly added to output files in order to generate new file names resembling the name of the source file when creating DVD compliant MPEG files.

Software that will open or convert FF files:

    WinRAR

    DAEMON Tools Lite

    7-Zip

    Source
    The Hackmaster

None of those tools will open this .ff file, which, as I've stated in my original post, is from an old DOS game, not from a modern game like call of duty, etc. So perhaps the .ff file I have is a different type of .ff file than the one you're thinking of.

      Anyone else have any ideas?
