To be honest just about every address I NOP causes a freeze up except these two.

Well I could make character modifier but Luis wouldn't be playable unless you downloaded a model replacement and used him instead of Leon. And the pistol he uses can be bought from the merchant later in the game.

Here is a Cheat Engine table:

Go to the inventory and set the weapon modifier to 37 to use the Red-9 pistol
