May reset the game every now & then.
Using this code on S&K alone will result with glitches if played as Knuckles because Tails is not fully integrated in this game by itself.
Codes are tested on a real DSi with AR DSi.

Yeah but these are for the original version, I never heard of the DSi enhanced one. Hey lee4, could you create a page for the normal US version?

I think you are abit confused,

its DS game with DSi enhanced.

        there only one version.

check your Game ID is TWL-VSOE-USA

also state which format you are posting

Yeah that's the same ID, the codes are raw, made with DeSmuME.

I have one question about the AR DSi, is it possible to write to ROM addresses? Like the Game Genie does for the NES Genesis & SNES., anybody who has has some insight about this would much appreciated. I know it isn't REALLY writing to the actual ROM offsets but rather redirecting the system to read it's input instead of the ROM cartridge.

Its possible, but I know very little about DS hardware.

I know nothing about the DS and was curious about this. I see the "6004" in that code and I know that in Motorola 68000 assembly that's a branch instruction. Does the DS's assembly also see 6004 as a branch instruction, or maybe it emulates the game, or something else?

It loads the ROMs in the memory, so yeah it's emulated. To get them I just follow patterns to be able to find what I need. Also the when the ROMs are loaded into memory they are in little endian format, so I have to search for byte swapped code.
I was also able to extract the Sonic 1 ROM out of memory, but it won't boot on any emulator, I think they are patched so they won't boot without being in their original state.

So check this out Mr. Hedstrom:

                      Sonic 1 Skywalking
                      Decrypted GG Code 00D5CA:0008
                      DS Version Code: 1217DC58 00000008

                      They are VERY close.

Just a tip: Make sure you're ending your conditional codes with a D0 or D2 (preferably a D2 line unless you absolutely need a D0) because execution status will always be set to false which will cause your codes to malfunction (even when the condition is met) on real hardware.
I only bother with things that interest me.

Well I'm still learning about AR DS codetypes, what are conditional codes? The ones that mean equal to(9??????? or 5????????,
I think I know what you mean because some of them don't all work at the same time. Turning on any code for S&K will make Sonic 1 Codes not work, even if I wanted all of them on at once. I always wondered what D0 or the more common D2 was for.
A note to all about NSMB, I don't have this game ATM, but I will be getting it back, but here's the tip: this game works without the Master Code Datel created.
