    Then that means you have REV01, there are a few slight differences in the two versions, namely fixes.

    To be honest I prefer to use Fusion too, but certain versions of Gens has the debugger which allows for better codes to be made. Does your Sonic 1 ROM say REV00 or REV01? The codes might not work with REV 01, if your ROM doesn't say which version it is then you'll need to look inside the zip file (assuming you use zipped ROMs) and tell me the CRC of it and I can tell you which version you have. If you do have REV01 I could port the code over to that version if you want.

    On the first level if the water dragon tries to eat you, Sonic will fall down past the bottom of the screen and it will skip the level totaling up your score, if kept turned on after that levels will skip until it shows the ending. If killed by other means after you restart the level it will skip until the ending. Bonus rounds are not skipped though.

    Are you using an emulator or a real system? If you are playing on a real system and your cartridge doesn't say "NOT FOR RESALE" then you are using revision 01 in which the code may not work.
    i'm using Kega Fusion. so should i try Gens GS instead?
