I'm using a custom-injected OOT V1.2 USA ROM with the collector's edition OOT emulator

well there your problem, my pointer is for vanilla version is v1.3.

DM version 2.5, since some games seem to have been broken with the newer DM versions.

not really broken some features got remove and plus now need any legit gamecube disc in drive.
he did to stop illegal use of his DM

Problem, it froze before the ROM had a chance to start loading.

Should I try DM 2.10 to see if that fixes the problem?

and does injected game boot fine without codes on?

my pointer are safeproof this line DE000000 80008180 check RAM alignment before run the code, so no way to crash/freezes.

unless you are ar code in pointer instead of gs codes.

You might also be wondering why the ID is PM4E01, which is the ID of the MKDD Bonus Disc. I had the ID originally named PZLE01 but for some reason it wouldn't boot so I changed it.

Just remembered something, the emulator I'm using is the one from the master quest disc, not collectors edition. Can't believe it slipped my mind like that.

If you want to use the emulator I use on all you need to do is extract out the (if you have it that is) zlj_f.tgc and use tgctogcm to convert it to ISO format and inject the 1.2 US ROM. Game Zelda Ocarina Master Quest, ID D43E01.

Game loads with that one, but the code doesn't work. I warped to Kakariko graveyard and let the poe hit me and the health still decreased.

Do you think the that DM 2.5 is the problem? Should I try 2.10?

Also the way I boot the game is not from the selection menu, it loads the game strait up because I pulled out the tgc file which is actually an ISO inside of the main game ISO.

you can try DM v2.10 but you will need real gc disc.

I dont deal modding that much.
