  • GForce's NES Codes

Trying to figure out making codes from scratch so I came up with a few codes for games that arent on the master list (I hope). All games are for NES/Famicom.

I discovered that this first games as China Rabbit Baby, several days later, I see it is also MM7 with different sprites for the main character. Theyre both the same game.

Mickey Mania 7 aka China Rabbit Baby (Unlicensed)

    Infinite Life/Hits
    0322 04

    Infinite Lives
    0321 FF

    Infinite Weapons/Apples
    0325 FF

    The Dragon (Unlicensed)

    Infinite Energy (After First Hit)
    006D 00

Note - Must deactivate before killing last enemy of the stage to advance

    Infinite Lives
    006E 00

Infinite Magic Killing Power (Blue Bar)
    007A FF

Note - May affect graphics at bottom of the screen but wont affect game play.

    Harry Potter (Unlicensed)

    Infinite Lives
    018D 09

    Infinite Health
    0193 00

    Fire Dragon (Unlicensed)

    Number of Fireballs Needed
    034F XX

    00 = Exit Open ~ FF = 255

    Level Select
    034D XX

    01 = Level 1 ~ 32 = Level 50
Note - Deactivate code when you begin the level so you dont have to repeat it.

    Little Red Hood (HES)

    Invincible (After First Hit)
    0637 00

Note - Disable before using the stage exit or game will freeze.

    Infinite Money ($25,500)
    0633 FF

Exit Appears As Soon A Key Is Collected (No Need To Collect Fruit)
    062D 63

Lu Ye Xian Zong - Wizard of Oz (Unlicensed)

Awesome G-Force. Once you start making them it's addicting as hell.

Now if someone could try to figure out a code that lets you play past the first level in the pirated game Strike Wolf I would be very happy. After you beat Stage 1 the game freezes up. There HAS to be a way past this unless the ROM dump itself is bad.
US NES games left to beat: 3
Last 2: Nobunaga's Ambition II and Gemfire

Well, if stage 1 is value 1, then the value would be 0 before starting the stage.

Maybe by doing 'greater than' ' less than' searches could give you the level value.

Oh, and congrats GForce, you can now make your own codes

You might want to change your topic title to "GForce NES Codes"

                        Look at GForce go!

Usually, similar codes are next to each other.

                        Try 0204 or 0202.

If it doesn't work, then see what those codes do and try incrementing or decreasing the addresses until you find it.

Hey G, I find that the higher you are on the screen, the lower the value will be for your vertical location.

What I will do to find this usually is to jump and at the highest point of the jump, pause the game, then start an increasing value search.

Now quickly unpause and then pause again, so your character dropped a little bit. Do a search for increasing values, then repeat, dropping your character a little with each new search.

It's hard to do one of these searches when your character doesn't have a high vertical jump, but you can usually narrow it down to at least 10 or less addresses. I just hate it when more than one address is responsible for your character's sprite. That's when problems start.

Thanks Rey and Adam. Ive been using the exact same technique as you described Adam. Maybe I was looking for numbers increasing/decreasing in the wrong direction. Like you said, the higher on the screen, the lower the value. I'll keep that in mind, now I have a 2 hour lunch break and gonna spend it trying to figure this out. When I keep doing the NOT EQUAL to search, the only remaining values are related to the sound. Damn this is pretty addicting...
