NES Zapper & Power Pad ROMs

Is it possible to play any of the Power Pad or Zapper games for NES on an emulator without the accessories? I know some shooting games you can choose to use a controller with cross hairs instead of the gun. I mean games like Trick Shooting or Super Team Games, are they possible to play on an emulator? Thanks for any info

Actually, it's fairly simple to set this up in most FCEU(X)(D)(SP) variants.

Config>Input...
Then select from the Drop-Down listboxes.

You can select these in FCEUXDSP:
<none>
Game Pad
Zapper
Power Pad
Arkanoid Paddle

In FCEUX, you have 2 Power Pad options instead of 1:
Power Pad A
Power Pad B

Thanks for that info, I've used that panel so many times to change from keyboard to controller. I didnt think it was possible to configure it to the Power Pad as well. I'll be sure to try that, it would be too embarassing to try to beat Dance Aerobics on a real Power Pad. Any advice for the Zapper games? Thanks again!

Or just use Nestopia. It has support for all peripherals.

I use FCEUX and the Light Gun option is there in the INPUT menu. Would I be able to plug in a mouse and use it as the gun by moving the cursor?

Thats because the zapper only works in CRT screens. Its a pity. I should have known that when I bought one several months ago u_u.

Thanks for all the info guys, I started playing Baby Boomer and Chiller. Damn those games are terrible. I kinda made a code for Baby Boomer but not sure if its already posted somewhere else. I didnt see it on this site or BS Free so I'l post it.
