I have created a list of codes for the officers in Bandit Kings of Ancient China for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
There are codes for about 150 different officers' troops and loyalty. I have them in a cht format, which I am unable to attach, but would love to share these with the community. I have imported the cheats into Mesen, without experiencing the issues below that I had with FCEUX, so personally, I would use the MESEN emulator.
I have found the codes on this site to be someone's codes from their game play (Whipon). They were using "Leopard Headed" the Good Fellow. These codes only apply to Leopard Headed. More info on this, at the end***** of this very long post (Sorry!!)
FCEUX has a more robust search function than MESEN, so I had to play the game there to get these codes laid out. Ultimately, I believe that because there are so many codes, when you import them into FCEUX (and possibly other emulators), the bottom half of the codes show one thing on the list, but different details in the address description and value fields. For this reason, EVERY TIME you load the game, you have to select the last code in the list, click UPDATE and do the same thing ALL THE WAY UP THE LIST until the code list info matches the code detail info that is displayed at the bottom... Not a problem on Mesen at all.
Super hard to imagine what I'm talking about, I know... but if you're a frequent FCEUX cheat user, you may be familiar with the issue.
Enjoy, everyone.
***Leopard Headed has a Troop address of "605A". If this is set to "64" as a value, they will have 100 troops. There is no need for anyone to have 255 troops, in the game. Having said that, His POPULARITY address seems to be "605B". This address can have a value of "FF" and that would be enough to get the Imperial Seal to attach Evil Gao Qui. So... whichever Good Fellow you use (and there are 3 on my list), just add 1 to their TROOPS address and set the value on that address to FF for the Imperial Seal, in the next January
