The demo terminates is execution and the system returns to the demo selection menu. Like a game that returns to his main menu after it is finished, but without the credits at the end.Originally posted by nensondubois View PostI imagine the game will freeze at some point when the game hits an end. What happens with this code? I'm generally curious.
I do this kind of codes, because if I want to put half an hour to play a demo...I want to have all the time I want. Without the anxiety of the timer. But this is just an example
EDIT:
In quite all PSX demos if you do nothing for two minutes the demo resets. And in all PSX demos there's a timer and you have limited time to play the demo.
To answer you better: With this code you are freely to do what you want like in a normal non-demo game. And when you finish the demo of the game it then returns to the demo disc main menu.Last edited by luc-ita; 03-14-2016, 05:27:19 PM.Learning how to hack real life

I apologize, and I'm so sorry for my mistakes! Concentrated by improve and research I have completely forgotten these rules!Originally posted by lee4 View PostDid you forget you can not have 16-bit value on odd address?
There's a guide to follow? I hate to waste your time!
EDIT:
I think I did not understand the full term of "odd addresses".
EDIT2:
I'm an idiot! Using the vocabulary I found what it means in English odd and I understood. I had got it wrong the first time that you tell me.
Found these useful informations:
Spoiler Alert! Click to view...
Code:IMPORTANT NOTE: the GameShark CANNOT handle word-value codes beginning at odd addresses (the odd hex digits are $1, $3, $5, $7, $9, $B, $D, and $F). If you enter such a code, it will CRASH THE PLAYSTATION.

lee4, many thanks...but unfortunately the corrected version of the jokers don't work. So I must use the max reverse joker commands, as I did before.
These odd addresses could be used like nolberto82 did: in a custom routine. As soon as possible I'll rework my codes and will use max reverse jokers.Learning how to hack real life

Yeah thanks again. I know that I can do jokers like you done above. My intention was to use a joker that doesn't interfere with the D-Pad. So the player can move around while he's holding the X button. Normally I do jokers for quite all possible cases of button pressed. So the player can moonjump and move at the same time. My desire was to do that with only 1 line of joker. Not like I've done for "the land before time" game...
But unfortunately I can do that only with a routine. Because all jokers are 2 bytes and the part assigned to the "action" buttons are the odd part.
I hope that I clarified my original intention. My english is not so well. However, a thousand thanks for your patience and help!
EDIT:
The reson for which I use the max reverse and not normal or the others joker commands is simply because conceptually I like them more than the others.Last edited by luc-ita; 03-17-2016, 05:15:24 AM.Learning how to hack real life

Oh my goodness! I'm such an ignorant! I didn't know that!!! Let me give a try! I'll re-rework all my MoonJump codes then!
(In time I hope I'll become a decent hacker)
EDIT:
As soon as possible I'll post re-reworked MoonJump codes (for some games) using the Exxxxxxx joker type. Where is possible.
Very useful information from you, lee4! As always!Last edited by luc-ita; 03-18-2016, 05:52:53 AM.Learning how to hack real life
