Maybe this could be a little heavy for the site database, btw i'd like to suggest adding a "comment" function to each code to report issues.
Also, like/dislike buttons could be used to report good codes working correctly. Then codes could be sorted in each page by the number of votes so more popular/verified codes are listed first...

I have thought of these things, and it is fine to consider them again.

As far as comments go, I'm not sure that would be more useful than the forums. Comments buried with the codes may not be seen as well as on the forums, and adding that may be making the site a bit too complicated. I have thought of adding a comment section to requests though.

Some kind of code verification would be good, and wouldn't be too detrimental to the database. However, there are things to consider. First of all, someone may dislike a code even though it was their own fault it wasn't working. Also, a rating system could be confused with a verification system, so they'd have to be separate. But users would still confuse the two, and that would make for mixed results. Then you have the people that will abuse either system, just like they did with the dislike button in the forums.
