    There appears to be no actual hardware-modification forum on this site (for such topics as handheld/console repair, 360 Red Ring fixes, PSP dis/assembly, good console-parts sites, et cetera).

    Allow me to ask one final question: could someone tell me how to either reassemble a PSP Go power switch using household items, or how to bypass said power switch so I can resume playing my PSP Go?

    I sent you a pm but you need to either bridge the contacts on either side of the switch with a piece of wire or whatever or solder 2 wires (one on each end of the switch and either attach another mini switch or touch the wires to make contact.
